Zaarour Chalets

Situated near one of the most prestigious ski clubs and the Zaarour ski slopes, this project contains two small chalets overlooking the horizon and the city of Beirut.

The design minimizes the impact of the building on the wild, no-man's land nature by grouping the two entities into one compact volume divided into four stackable floors.

The overall look reflects a paradoxical merge between a rocky, natural gray volume sitting on the edge of a cliff and a slanted, silky modern cube overlooking modernity, with roof terraces splitting the volume horizontally for a unique observatory towards the view.
